The NextGen initiative was launched in 2015 by the Society of Cosmetic Chemists to address the
needs of early careerists, young professionals and undergraduate/post-graduate students in
the cosmetics and personal care industry. The initiative consists of special education, networking
and other events specifically designed to assist the Ònext generationÓ of formulators, innovators,
and ground-breakers in the industry.
