¥ Added immediate restrictions for use of Castor Oil, monomaleate on June 10, 2026.

¥ Chlorpyfiros Ð Added to Annex 1 of the the POPs (Persistent Organic Pollutants) regulation,
banning itÕs manufacturer and limiting it as a trace contaminant to 0.01 mg/kg.
¥ The EU packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) (EU) 2025/40-General Application
Date takes effect on Aug. 12, 2026.
¥ Fragrance Allergens- The new updated list (additional 56 allergens) must on the label by July 31,
2026.
¥ EU SCCS Ð New proposed bans benzophenone-1, benzophenone-2, Basic Brown 16, Basic Blue 99
and prostaglandin analogues in cosmetics. It would restrict further butylated hydroxyanisole
(BHA), butylparaben, cannabidiol (CBD) and hydroxyapatite (nano), it also addresses mercurycontaining preservatives. Comment period open till Sept. 6, 2026.
